XDL is going into its fifth year in 2010.

So when I was asked to spill a few hundred words for Stunters Edge, I thought I would reflect on my ’09 experience with the series.

How hard is it to remain a relevant force on the competition circuit? I’ve been asking myself this question all year as my winning streak that was going so strong in ’08 crumbled in the ’09 season. It took one accident – one endo that slapped me to the ground and forever changed my left shoulder. With a two-month recovery forcing me to the bench for the first XDL (Havasu), my chances to repeat in 2009 looked slim.
