Everything But The Bike – Sold! / Hard Knocks Motorcycle Entertainment – Thrives!

January 15, 2010, Pennsylvania – Allan Lane sold Everything But The Bike in May 2009 to Mica Frodge shortly after his project company, Hard Knocks Motorcycle Entertainment was contracted by New Jersey Motorsports Park to produce and promote the final round of the 2009 AMA Superbike Series. Ms. Frodge took control of the day-to-day operations and ownership of the retail entity and moved the business to Hampton, Virginia. The sale of this retail venture allowed Allan to bring his Hard Knocks Motorcycle Entertainment to the forefront of his endeavors.

Hard Knocks produced and promoted New Jersey Motorsports Park’s most successful event to date and achieved the highest level of attendance at a 2009 AMA event. Two weeks later, Hard Knocks’ marquee event, “Clutch Control 2009: 3rd Gear” raised the bar as the most triumphant installment of the series.

Hard Knock continues building solid relationships as a consultant and contributor to No Limit Extreme Entertainment, Leo Vince Exhaust and Electronics, Ducati North America, 2 Wheel Tuner Magazine, and DP Brakes and Clutches. Hard Knocks has also developed new opportunities with Crown Multimedia Agency, Legacy Design Studio, Advanstar Communications and Cycle World’s International Motorcycle Shows to name a few.

Hard Knocks is currently responsible for managing the career of Team No Limit’s Eric Hoenshell while continuing to work closely with Jason Britton, Tony Carbajal and collaborating with Rickey Gadson, Tyson Beckford, Big Tigger, Coco and Ice T.

“I knew there was going to come a time when I would have to give 150% of my energy to Hard Knocks and that I would move on from EBTB,” says Allan Lane. “EBTB was a vehicle to get me where I truly wanted to be in this industry. I am fortunate to be in a position to showcase and bring to light the highest level of talent and entertainment that the motorcycle industry has to offer. Hard Knocks Motorcycle Entertainment has arrived, and we’re not going anywhere.”

The recently announced fourth installment of the Clutch Control series, “The Illy in Philly!” is already creating a buzz and is being slated as the premier late season event in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
